Brutal Doom is the mod that keeps on giving, cranking up the classic FPS to ridiculous levels, adding new guns, features and, obviously, lashings of extra gore. Some people like to pick and choose how their favourite FPS evolves, though, and many don’t like how you have to aim up and down, because it changes the feel of the original too much. Well now there’s an option to turn on auto-aim so you only have to aim left and right.If you like the classics, check out our list of the.Previously there was a bug that meant auto-aim couldn’t be implemented. Trying to shoot distant enemies often defaulted to aiming at a corpse on the floor. Luckily, the developer has plugged that, so purists can toggle it on in the options menu and blast away. Elsewhere, the pistol now takes a special ammo type and acts as a backup weapon.
It can also be dual-wielded at the expense of accuracy and reload time. Ms access pk, fk, ak. There’s also a new weapon: the submachine gun – this weapon, sometimes replacing chainguns on the ground, can also be dual-wielded.There’s a new melee weapon, too.
The axe can be acquired by taking it from a zombie civilian once you’ve gibbed them. This powerful tool will take down medium-sized enemies in a single swing, assuming you hit the head or the chest. Thanks everyone!and i saw it was moved to this forum.i apologize to the mods:) i didnt even see this sub forum!another thing i should mention.i dont like the wads that alter the game too much like with scifi stuff.i enjoy satanic style doom maps lolSomeday I will complete my Megawad specifically designed for Brutal Doom (only v19 at this point) so I can't recommend mine just yet. Also majority of the complete maps are tech based with a couple cave levels, the Hell maps are for the later stages. But threads like this always excites me as I'm sure I will eventually create a wad a particular group of Doomers will love!

Hi!Today I spend some time on creation of mod which will add slightly altered classic Doom weapons to the fantastic Brutal Doom.Features:-classic-style weapons: rifle, shotgun, chaingun, rocket launcher, plasma gun, bfg. Pickup sprites for super/shotgun and plasma.-un-cut versions of chaingun, rocket launcher and bfg - they take a lot of screen's space and look powerful.-simple reload animations based on vanilla sprites.-weapon rise/lower animation with multiple angles.-rocket sprites taken from Beautiful Doom: both ammo and projectiles.All the animations are based on already existing sprites so don't expect artistic design here. For now everything is made except for new rifle sprites. Currently the file is about 1MB big.Screenshots below. I waan play with this eve if its now finished.Yes, shotgun will remain partially in BD-style, as some other weapons. Smooth stock is an improvement IMHO.The mod is almost finished, only a minor tweaks here and there.
Asking for permission from authors I've taken some of the frames. This may be the hardest part.Current to-do list:-change Doom gloves on pistol animation to BD equivalents (Yes, BD pistol addon will also be supported). The sounds are borrowed from Beautiful Doom, Brutal Doom 12, Vanilla Doom etc.All the gunshots and explosions are replaced, some action sounds are taken from console versions of Doom.I use them mostly when I play during night, when everybody's sleeping, but they're great for anyone looking for a non-loud sounds.Anyway, now I'm kinda busy with my other projects: Joined: 31 Jan 2011.
